Congratulations to our own dear Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, on her new Appointment as Lagos State Commissioner for Education
Folasade Adefisayo, B.Sc, MBA, IPGCE, M.Ed. She has over 35 years working experience spanning banking operations, Trade and Finance, Organizational Restructuring, Human Resource Management, Training and Treasury Management. She acquired quality training locally and abroad in core banking management consultancy, business administration, strategic planning and human resource management.
 Mrs. Folashade Adefisayo has made so much impact in banking and finance and most recently,  education.  Her career has been quite interesting. She spent over 25 years in service  before she got to the position of Executive Director of Corona Trust Schools Council, managing Corona’s blue-chip schools, from where she retired in August 2010. 
She is dedicated to improving other people’s lives and has served as a volunteer to many NGOs – Society for the Blind, Volunteer Corps, Oando Foundation, Teach for Nigeria, SWORTE Talks among others. She was the CEO of Corona Schools Trust Council for eight years. She spent her last four years in Corona Secondary School as operation manager. She is presently an educational consultant engaged in providing broad-based education consulting  ranging from school transformation, teacher recruitment and training, school set up and management, school and NGO board development and school operations management. 
Folasade’s greatest passion is for education, particularly education for the poor and she has consulted and served organisations concerned with mass education such as the NESG, DFID and DEEPEN. She has also consulted for state governments and a number of schools. She is also passionate about youth  development.
