LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENTMINISTRY OF BASIC AND SECONDARYEDUCATIONEXAMINATIONS BOARDYEAR 2024 SCREENING TEST INTO MODELCOLLEGES/UPGRADED JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS
The Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, through the Lagos
State Examinations Board hereby informs the General Public, especially
Parents/Guardians, Head teachers and School Owners that FORMS for
SCREENING TEST for admission of Primary Six (6) Pupils into Model Colleges
/Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools with BOARDING FACILITIES for
Y2024/2025 Academic Session has commenced and ends on the 11th of May,
2024.
PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION will be done through an online e-Portal.
Applicants will not be required to come to the Examinations Board for either
payment or registration. This can also be done at the Applicants’ comfort zone.
They are to login into the Portal: https://examsboard.lagosstate.gov.ng and
follow the guidelines as indicated by clicking on the SCREENING TEST/MODEL
COLLEGES.
REGISTRATION FEE is N10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira) only per candidate and to
be paid into any bank of their choice.
The SCREENING TEST is the only yardstick for admission of Pupils into JSS One
in any Model Colleges/Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools listed below:

MODE OF EXAMINATION: The Entrance Examination will be conducted through
COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT) ONLY.
PROPOSED DATE OF EXAMINATIONS
TUESDAY, 28TH MAY TO FRIDAY, 31ST MAY, 2024 at various CBT designated
centres across the 6 (Six) Education Districts in the State.
TIME: 8.00 am prompt daily
ELIGIBILITY: Only Primary 6 (Six) Pupils from Public and Private Primary Schools
are eligible to participate in the Test.
NB: Candidates that pass the TEST and meet the required cut off marks will be
offered admission into any of the Model Colleges/Upgraded Junior Secondary
Schools irrespective of his/her First or Second choice of Schools.
